Evaluation Mode

ReportShell works out of the box without a license key in evaluation mode. This mode is intended for local development and evaluation by developers on their workstations. Any use other than local development requires a purchased license. See the End-User License Agreement for full terms.

Below are the available features and limitations as of the latest released version.

What’s Covered

In evaluation mode, core features to view, run, and export reports are available along with the bundled React Report Viewer.

Current Limitations

The following limitations apply in evaluation mode:

• Choice controls show only the top 3 options
• Number of exports per JVM process is limited to 100
• Watermarks are applied for some output formats
