This page lists the open source software that is either bundled with the ReportShell™ Frontend Viewer or required as a dynamically linked dependency of the ReportShell Software. It is provided to satisfy attribution obligations under the respective licenses and to give customers a transparent view of the third-party software that ReportShell depends on.

ReportShell itself is proprietary software of Bivektor, Inc. distributed under the ReportShell End User License Agreement.

1. Bundled in the ReportShell Frontend Viewer

The ReportShell Frontend Viewer is distributed as a compiled JavaScript bundle that embeds code from the libraries listed below. All are licensed under the MIT License. The copyright notice for each library is reproduced below, followed by the single shared text of the MIT License.

2. Linked Dependencies

ReportShell is distributed as Java/Kotlin library artifacts (JARs). It is not a standalone application and does not bundle or redistribute any third-party JAR files. The libraries listed below are declared as Maven/Gradle dependencies and are resolved from public artifact repositories by the customer's build system at compile or runtime or are obtained independently by the customer.

JasperReports® Library — LGPL-3.0

ReportShell depends on JasperReports Library at compile time and at runtime. JasperReports Library JARs are not bundled with or shipped as part of ReportShell Software. They are declared as dependencies in the published build metadata (POM/Gradle module) and are resolved and downloaded separately by your build tool (e.g., Maven, Gradle) or must be obtained by you independently.

JasperReports is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License, version 3 (LGPL-3.0). You may use any version of the JasperReports Library JARs that you independently obtain, as permitted by the LGPL-3.0. However, ReportShell is tested against specific versions and may not support or function correctly with other versions.

Other Linked Dependencies

The following libraries are also declared as compile and runtime dependencies of ReportShell Software. As with JasperReports, they are not bundled or redistributed; customers resolve them through their own build system.
